Beheader: Surgical Peak Annihilation & Saturation Beheader is not a limiter. Where a limiter pulls the entire signal back to avoid a ceiling, Beheader cuts only what exceeds it leaving the body, energy, and dynamics of your sound completely intact. The result is harder, louder, and more present, without the gain-pumping or transient smearing that limiting inevitably introduces. Shape your clip, define your tone. The variable Slope control lets you glide seamlessly between warm, analog-style soft clipping and ruthless, digital hard clipping. Soft clipping rounds the waveform gently, introducing harmonics that sit naturally in the mix. Hard clipping severs the peak with mathematical precision, zero mercy, maximum density. Tame the unruly, unleash the aggressive. Eliminate rogue peaks on a drum bus without touching the transient punch beneath them. Push a mix bus harder than any limiter would allow. With oversampling up to 4x, the nonlinear clipping function is computed at a higher sample rate before being downsampled, suppressing the intermodulation and aliasing artifacts that make other clippers sound harsh and digital.
